As part of its growth, the company is currently seeking a financial controller to join its team in Montreal.

Job Description:

Reporting to management, the financial controller will be responsible for managing and monitoring the financial activities of the company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in producing financial information, controlling accounting operations, and monitoring the financial performance of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the accounting and financial activities of the company;

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements;

• Ensure the monitoring of accounts payable and receivable;

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data;

• Supervise the month-end and year-end processes;

• Prepare various financial reports and analyses for management;

• Monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and variances;

• Analyze costs and profitability of the company's activities;

• Ensure compliance with financial controls and accounting procedures;

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure reliable and up-to-date financial information;

• Participate in the improvement of financial processes and controls;

• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations with relevant partners;

• Provide management with the financial analyses necessary for decision-making.

Desired Profile:

• University degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field;

• Relevant experience in accounting and financial management;

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset;

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis;

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;

• Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;

• Good communication and collaboration skills;

• Proficiency in computer tools and accounting software.
